Thank you to those Induction Tutors, Mentors and ECTs who responded to our Quality Assurance email and completed the Google form.

Interesting points from the feedback:

ALL ECTs who responded are receiving their entitled time off timetable.

All Induction Tutors who responded have enough time to carry out their role.

The majority of Mentors are having regular meetings with their ECT.

82% of those Mentors who responded have protected time to carry out their Mentor role and most, 96.4% are using Instructional Coaching in their mentoring interactions.

The checks also highlighted the challenges of implementing the ECF in small schools. We are interested in carrying out some case studies on ECF implementation in small schools. If you can help, please contact Tina at BEDDOET@onecumbria.education

Please remember that it is that time of year when the review points for statutory induction of Early Career Teachers are due. All induction tutors and Early Career Teachers are now on our Mosaic system and you should have had log on information regarding this. If you need any support around this please contact Lindsey Martin at ab@onecumbria.education  It is an absolute pleasure reading these reports and seeing the fabulous work, commitment and progress shown by our Early Career Teachers in our schools. Thank-you to all who support them too.
