Cumbria Computing Hub

Teach Computing Newcastle, Durham & Cumbria’s Computing Hub’s main role is to provide FREE Computing CPD that will ‘upskill’ existing staff to a level where they can confidently teach Computing at KS3 or even take a GCSE Computer Science class.

They are closely linked to other DfE funded bodies, STEM Learning, Science Learning Partnerships, Enthuse Partnerships, the STEM Ambassadors Program and Maths Hubs. Their ‘parent’ organisation is the National Centre for Computing Education. Their public-facing brands are Teach Computing and Isaac Computing.

National Association of Teachers of English – Free membership for trainee teachers

The National Association of Teachers of English (NATE) offer trainee teachers free membership for 12 months.

The attached NATE PowerPoint offers a flavour of what was offered last year, and plans for 2021 – 2022.

Association of Teachers of Mathematics – Free e-student membership for trainee teachers

The Association of Teachers of Mathematics (ATM) offer trainee teachers free e-student membership for 2021/2022 academic year.

FREE e-Student Membership for Trainee Teachers (funded courtesy of the Alan Bell Endowment set up to support trainee teachers).  When you sign up to the free e-student membership you will also receive a Free Student Resource Pack to help kick-start your studies.
