Professional Learning Networks
A One Cumbria Professional Learning Network is a group of professionals from different settings who engage in collaborative learning in order to improve children’s education.
Each network agrees a shared, student-centred purpose, and designs, implements and evaluates a year-long research project looking at improving an aspect of children’s learning.
Networks are run by their members, with expert facilitation and research guidance provided by One Cumbria.
Networks meet monthly throughout their projects and share their learning through a conference held in the summer term.
The first One Cumbria alumni Professional Learning Network will start in September 2024. Watch this space for more information on the project they choose, or express an interest in being involved here:
