Our Cohorts

Our very first cohort of NPQ programme members have now completed their assessments and await their outcomes. Congratulations to each and every one of them for their engagement, enthusiasm and the difference they have made in their schools by using the knowledge and skills from the programme. As with the end of any programme, we will review how things have run and reflect any improvements necessary in future programmes. Our new cohort, 2A, have just begun their programmes, including the new Leading Literacy and Early Years Leadership. If you are part of this cohort, remember your first face to face conferences are:

21st April 2023 for Leadership NPQs (NPQEYL, NPQSL, NPQH)

20th April 2023 for Specialist NPQs (NPQLT, NPQLTD, NPQLBC, NPQLL)

These are always amazing days, networking and putting into practice your learning using real life scenarios.

Cohort 1B enjoyed a fantastic day at North Lakes Hotel for their recent second conference. As one delegate quoted: “this day gave me the opportunity to put my online and seminar learning into real life scenarios. It was fantastic to talk to colleagues in a supportive environment and we were able to challenge ideas.”

Engagement

As programme members it is vital that engagement is kept a high priority. Without this you cannot be put forward for assessment when the time comes. Please ensure that you attend seminars, (if you cannot attend one you catch up) and ensure you complete your online tasks. If at any point you feel you need support for any reason we are here to help. Do not hesitate to speak to facilitators or the NPQ lead, Lindsey Martin: martinl@onecumbria.education
