Welcome to the March ECF Blog. We have a short half term ahead of us. I hope it is a happy and successful one for you all.
What’s happening in March?
If you started your ECF in September 21 you will be working through your fourth development cycle.
If you started your ECF in January 22 you will be working through your second development cycle.
If you started your ECF in April 22 or September 22 you will be working through module four.
If you started your ECF in January 23 you will be working through module 2.
Annual Mentor Survey from Teach First
The annual Teach First mentor survey will be live, on Brightspace until the 31st March. It will be at the start of Module 4 (Year 1 Mentors) or Development Cycle 4 (Year 2 mentors). Until they have completed or opted out of the survey, mentors will not be able to access the rest of the content. If a mentor has begun to engage with one of these modules before the 10 February, they will need to complete or opt out of the survey in order to get back into the content. Any progress they have made will have been saved.
Teach First have created a brief one-page guide for mentors on how to access the survey on Brightspace:

How to use the directory:
If you need support in an area, please look at the support offered directory for your phase. If there is an offer there that meets your needs, please let me know and I will put you in touch with the school.
If you can offer support, please look at the support needed directory for your phase and then get in touch with me and I will pair you up!
It would be wonderful if we could collaborate across the county to support our ECTs.
Thanks for all your hard work with this.
As always, if you have any questions, please get in touch with either Tina:
