Attention all ECF induction tutors, ECF leads, ECTs and mentors!

We are now well into Year 2 of the ECF and this means many of you will be juggling two cohorts of ECTs and all the dates and admin that entails. What follows is a reminder of all the dates coming up, and what schools need to do over the next two terms. This is a lot of information to take in – please don’t hesitate to contact us if you are unsure of what to do.

As always, we are here to help guide you through the ECF process.

Mosaic

Mosaic is the name of our online reporting platform for all Appropriate Body reports.

Induction Tutors and ECTs will be sent an email on 14^th November 2022 with instruction on how to log in. Please do so and familiarise yourself with the system, so that you are ready to input information ready for the assessment submission date of Tuesday 6^th December.

Early Career Framework

Important – Are you anticipating recruiting any new Year 1 ECTs from January 2023?

ECT and Mentor Inductions for new January cohort Year 1 2023

The Inductions for all new January 2023 cohort members starting Year 1 of the ECF will take place in January 2023, in order to ensure that both ECTs and Mentors are fully prepared to start the first year of the programme.

ECTs and Mentors will be able to book onto one of the dates offered which will be a half day, Zoom seminar:

Friday 6^th January 9.30am to 11.30am – Mentors Y1 Induction via Zoom

Friday 6^th January 1pm to 4pm – ECTs Y1 Induction via Zoom

Attention January 22 ECF Cohort!

MENTORS – Year 2 induction sessions

We will hold an in-person meeting at Rheged on Friday 25^th November in the morning (9.30am – 12). We do hope that you can make this, as the in person meetings we held in July were very successful and were a great opportunity to network.

However if you cannot make this session, we are holding a virtual session on the morning of Wednesday 14^th December.

ECTS – Year 2 Induction Sessions
