Please join us for this term’s virtual briefing. We will be looking at the role of the Induction Tutor, Mosaic and the dates for this term.
We will also be providing feedback from the December assessments.

Assessments on Mosaic

Thank you to everyone who completed their December progress review forms and formal assessment points on Mosaic. They were a pleasure to read and it was excellent to see the progress being made by Early Career Teachers across the county. If you are an ECT or induction tutor and have still not completed a December assessment please get in touch with Lindsey (AB lead) at ab@onecumbria.education

We thought it might be helpful to show you what the final report looks like if you export it from Mosaic. If an ECT moves out of county for example the new Appropriate Body requests their assessments so it is vital they are filled in correctly. Likewise, if an ECT moves schools we ask for an interim assessment so that a new school can see an up to date reflection of an ECT’s performance.

We have two main reports, one is a progress review, which is a snapshot of whether the ECT is on track and gives basic details of their performance and the ECT comments on their performance and support / entitlements. The other report is the formal end of year report which is more detailed. Comments are expected against each Teachers Standard. Both reports ask for targets.

In the links below you can find an example of a progress review and a formal assessment which may help when using Mosaic in the future.
